Region II, Westchester, NY September 20, the first program of the new season (”Improvising within the Worship Service”), was held at the First Baptist Church in White Plains. Frank Miller, the church's minister of music, was the host and presenter. He demonstrated the unique orchestral sounds found on the church's new Allen organ. During the reception (arranged by Sub-dean Alice Avouris) that followed, a beautifully framed certificate of appreciation was presented to Edna Neff Schloton for her years of dedication to the Guild. – Ralph A.
