His lively talk was illustrated by examples played by members Terence Flannigan and Lana Kollath. Paul Jacobs Recital
Nov. 17 the chapter and Hitchcock Presbyterian Church in Scarsdale (John King, host and music director) joined forces to present Grammy Award-winning organist Paul Jacobs in recital. The recital attracted a near-capacity crowd, with not only many AGO members (from the Westchester chapter and elsewhere), but also many church members and community residents who would not normally attend an organ recital. At the reception following, many nonorganists told how much they enjoyed the program and would like to attend similar events in the future. - Kevin Walsh
