Deans of the Chapter
The American Guild of Organists, founded in 1896, is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.
At the founding of the Westchester County Chapter, interested organists in the area met in Christ Church, Bronxville to conduct the organizational meeting on January 24, 1951 with Robert Owen as host. The first official meeting of the Chapter was held on June 24, 1951, with our first Dean, Dr. Henry F. Seibert presiding.
